After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God. Acts 1:3 NIVUK
Jesus still gives convincing proofs that his alive, that his the loving Christ (King) and his kingdom rules over darkness. He is still talking to us about the Kingdom of God, its rule, how we enter it and how its values are lived out.
As his disciples we are to speak about his Kingdom and demonstrate in our lives his kingdom values and his kingdom authority and power. In this way we are instruments used by the Holy Spirit to show that Jesus is alive as we live, speak and demonstrate his rule in our lives.
Dear Lord Jesus, my your kingdom values rule in our hearts and you kingdom authority be demonstrate in power through our loving service (ministry), so that we may give convincing proof that you are truly alive. In this way giving hope and the offer of salvation as we boldly proclaim the good news of your kingdom present.
